Like a small colony, these remains were an attempt to live on the immediate edge of the Rhône. Where the waves may arise at any moment, men have ended up deserting the place. Lost at the end of a path that tends to disappear into the ground, the fresh water tank is like the signal of arrival. If the few workers installed on site until the mid-1980s had attempted some decorations, all their efforts are now soiled, wet to the deepest by the spray of the Rhône.
